Cheat on Illinois GED Test
First, I do not advocate cheating on the Illinois GED test. I don’t advocate cheating on any GED test, anywhere, anytime.
But here’s why the question is impractical.
The GED test is a series of 5 tests:
- Language Arts: Writing
- Social Studies
- Science
- Language Arts: Reading
- Mathematics
And to make things even more complex, in the State of Illinois you are required (as of 3/31/2010) to take and pass the High School level Constitution Test.
These are a series of tests taken over one day or a couple of days (find a GED testing center in Illinois to confirm the length of the test).
How would you cheat for such a test, memorizing all the answers? If you have a memory good enough to memorize all the answers, the GED would be easy to begin with.
So, leaving morality out of the “How do I Cheat on the Illinois GED Test?” question, it would be impractical to cheat.
Pick up a used GED test preparation booklet from a used bookstore, study the book with a friend, and take the test when you’re ready.
Hi Richard,
Couldn’t find any other way to contact you but through this “Leave a REply” so here goes. I am a teacher for Pinellas County Schools (Florida) and my position is Online GED Teacher, so yes there are ‘free’ online GED preparation classes. In fact sevearl districts in Florida have similar programs.
The way it works is (1) a student starts by taking a Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) in person at a physical adult ed facility. (2) If the student performs high, we administer a practice GED (in person or online) and then sign them up for the GED Tests (which MUST be taken in person. (3) If they don’t do well enough on the TABE we use the results to customize a study program.
Instruction is mostly computer based but is supplemented by both online tutoring sessions, customized video tutoring (using Jing) and also by large group Elluminate classes at certain times every week. My Elluminate class focuses on Math and is every Sunday night at 9:15 pm (Eastern Time). If you would like to sit in some Sunday evening, feel free.
